• Coach Bobeda will be having a parent & players meeting in the North Library TONIGHT from 6-7:00pm for boys tennis.
• Winter Sports Awards night is Monday, March 15th @ 6:00pm in the Rose Auditorium. All Winter sports athletes; basketball, wrestling, swimming, cheer & dance, are invited with your families to these ceremonies to receive your awards from your coaches. We are trying a new format to really recognize your academic & athletic successes. Please plan on attending.
• Congratulations to the South Fencing team on their victory over Blanchet last night!
• Power Lifters…meet Coach Lacey at the student parking lot @ 7:00AM & bus will leave @ 7:15AM on Saturday, March 13th. Be on time!
• Cheer try-outs are coming soon! Sign up in the Main office. You must have a current physical within the last two years to participate.
• Submit your best art & stories to INK, South’s literary/art magazine! Submit to Rm 239 or saxon.ink@gmail.com. Limit 5 per person. Due March 19th.
• Art students….Bush Barn Art Show is going up right after Spring break! Bring in your art for the show by Monday, March 29th. Deliver it to Rm 153, Ms. Couch. We hang the show on Tuesday, March 30th.
• STUDENTS: Remember to bring in your signed registration worksheet for next year’s classes. Freshman & Sophomores turn it in to your Social Studies teacher; Juniors to the Guidance center.
• Scholarships based on financial need, academics, community service and writing skills available in the ASPIRE Center and on the ASPIRE website. Due March 31st is the Scott Memorial and Due April 2nd is the Jiffy Lube.
• Tune in TONIGHT & TOMORROW @ 7:00pm in the Rose Auditorium to find out what happens when you mix a two-timing Italian mobster, a live game show, and audience participation in the student-run show “Occupation Murder”. Cost is $5.00 for adults & $4.00 for students.
• Reminder – NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, due to grading day. Next week’s schedule is a normal week.
